A <strong>unit of measure <\/strong>just tells you what you measured. <strong>Units of measure <\/strong>can be pages, fish, cans, kilometres, meters, centimetres, litres, millilitres, grams, or kilograms. When you answer a word problem, you must include the <strong>unit of measure <\/strong>in your answer.\r\n\r\nTry the following questions. Be sure to include the unit of measure in your answer.\r\n\r\n<strong>Perimeter <\/strong>means <strong>distance around<\/strong>. To find the <strong>perimeter <\/strong>of a shape, find the lengths of the sides and add them together.\r\n\r\n<strong>Example: Rectangle<img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-234\" src=\"https:\/\/opentextbc.ca\/alfm1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/327\/2021\/01\/rec.png\" alt=\"A rectangle.
