If you can remember what the prefixes mean, you can convert within the metric system relatively easily by simply multiplying or dividing the number by the value of the prefix.\n\nThe most common metric measurements used in the food service industry are kilograms, grams, litres, and millilitres.\n<h1>Examples of How to Convert Between Measurements<\/h1>\n<div class=\"textbox textbox--exercises\"><header class=\"textbox__header\">\n<p class=\"textbox__title\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Example 1<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"textbox__content\">\n\nConvert 26.75 kg to g.\n\nFirst, write the question with the meaning of the prefix inserted.
