Insert a Table<\/h1>\r\n[pb_glossary id=\"426\"]Table[\/pb_glossary] \u2013 information\u00a0arranged in a condensed form of columns and rows. It is a more effective way to present information.\r\n

Insert a table in a document (Word 2016)<\/h2>\r\n

Method 1<\/h3>\r\n

  1. Click where you wish to insert the table in your document.<\/li>\r\n \t
  2. Click the Insert<\/strong> tab and the Table<\/strong> button.\"\"<\/li>\r\n \t
  3. Drag through to select the desired number of rows and columns (a table will appear).\"\"<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    Method 2<\/h3>\r\n

    1. Click where you wish to create the table in your document.<\/li>\r\n \t

    5. Click the up or down arrows (in the Table drop-down menu) to select the desired number of columns.<\/li>\r\n \t
    6. Click the up or down arrows to select the desired number of rows.<\/li>\r\n \t
    7. Click OK<\/strong> to insert the table.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

      Create and Remove Columns<\/h1>\r\n

      Add columns to a document<\/h2>\r\n

      1. Select the paragraphs you wish to lay out in columns.<\/li>\r\n \t
      2. Click the Layout<\/strong> tab and click the Columns<\/strong> button.\"\"<\/li>\r\n \t
      3. Click to select the number of columns you wish to create (such as \u201cTwo,\u201d in the drop-down menu).<\/li>\r\n \t
      4. The text will lay out in columns.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\"\"\r\n

        Remove columns<\/h2>\r\n

          Insert Page Breaks<\/h1>\r\n

          [pb_glossary id=\"427\"]Page break[\/pb_glossary] \u2013 a\u00a0page break\u00a0marks the end of a page that indicates where the printer will start a new page.<\/p>\r\n\"\"\r\n

          1. Click where you wish a new page to begin.<\/li>\r\n \t
          2. Click the Insert<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\r\n \t
          3. Click the Page Break<\/strong> button. A page break is inserted in the document.\"\"<\/li>\r\n \t
          4. Click on the Home<\/strong> tab and then Show\/Hide symbol (\u00b6) will show hidden page beaks (click the Show\/Hide symbol again will remove \u00b6).\"\"<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

            4. Click to select the type of section break you wish to use.<\/li>\r\n \t
            5. Click on the Home<\/strong> tab and then Show\/Hide symbol (\u00b6) will show hidden section beaks.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

              Remove a page or section break<\/h2>\r\n

              1. Click the Home<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\r\n \t
              2. Click the Show\/Hide symbol \u00b6 (to display the section break).<\/li>\r\n \t
              3. Double-click the page or section break to select it.<\/li>\r\n \t
