Amadou et Mariam sont tous les deux aveugles. Amadou est devenu [pb_glossary id=\"230\"]aveugle[\/pb_glossary] \u00e0\nl\u2019\u00e2ge de 16 ans et sa femme \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 5 ans. [pb_glossary id=\"229\"]Ils se marient[\/pb_glossary] en 1980 et forme un groupe \u00e0 la m\u00eame \u00e9poque. Dans leur groupe, Mariam chante et Amadou joue de la guitare.\nEn 1986, ils \u00e9migrent en C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire et commence une longue ascension vers la notori\u00e9t\u00e9\ninternationale. Amadou et Mariam jouent leur musique dans de nombreux pays de l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest mais aussi en France, en Suisse , Allemagne, en Angleterre et aux Etats-Unis.<\/p>\n Manu Chao<\/strong>\nManu Chao est n\u00e9 \u00e0 Paris le 21 juin 1961. Ses parents sont d\u2019origine espagnole et Manu Chao est bilingue. Avec ses deux fr\u00e8res et son cousin, Manu Chao forme le groupe la Mano Negra en 1986. Le groupe se s\u00e9pare en 1990 et Manu Chao voyage au Mexique, au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et au Br\u00e9sil. En 1998, il produit un album solo, Clandestino.
